Ingredients:
- 1 Pittman & Davis Honeybell
- 2 limes
- 3 Tbsp. silver tequila
- 2 Tbsp. orange liqueur
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 3 Tbsp. simple syrup
- ½ c. sugar
- ½ c. water
- Coarse sea salt
Directions:
- Make the simple syrup: bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan until sugar dissolves. Turn off heat and allow to cool completely. (Excess can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.)
- Prepare the fruit: cut the Honeybell in half. Juice one half of the Honeybell and cut the remaining half into wedges. Juice one of the limes and cut the remaining lime into wedges.
- Prepare the glass: rub the edge of a margarita glass with one lime wedge, then dip in salt. Fill with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 4 tablespoons of Honeybell juice, orange liqueur, juice of one lime (about 2 tablespoons), and 1½ tablespoons of simple syrup with ice; shake about 30 seconds.
- Pour over ice and garnish with slices of lime and Honeybell.
