Grapefruit Elderflower Cocktail Recipe

Warm weather will soon be here, and nothing beats spending a relaxing evening sipping fresh fruit cocktails on your porch or deck. If you’re looking for a light and refreshing new drink to try, a Pittman & Davis Rio Ruby™ Red Grapefruit Elderflower Cocktail may be the tropical-tasting delight you’ve been seeking! Made with vibrant, fresh-squeezed sweet grapefruit and fresh, fruity and floral elderberry vodka, this zesty cocktail will make your spring and summer nights even sweeter. Recipe is for one serving, but can easily be increased.

Ingredients:

1 Pittman & Davis Rio Ruby™ Red Grapefruit, juiced

3 Tbsp. elderflower vodka

1 Tbsp. simple syrup

3 Tbsp. club soda

Directions:

  • Slice the grapefruit in half. Juice one grapefruit half (should yield about 6 tablespoons of juice). Cut remaining grapefruit half into slices and set aside.
  • Fill a shaker about ¾ full with ice. Add vodka, juice and simple syrup and shake until chilled.
  • Add ice to a highball glass or mason jar. Strain mixture over ice in glass. Add club soda, garnish with grapefruit slices and serve.
