Fresh from the Sunbelt: To grow the best Cara Cara oranges, we spend long days in the grove to ensure that each tree has ideal water, nutrition, drainage, and care. When we see dark green leaves and sturdy branches supporting perfectly ripening Cara Cara oranges like these, we know all our hard work has been rewarded.  

Fresh from the Sunbelt: Honeybell season tends to be short but sweet. These delicious beauties are only available from January until around the second week in February and they are looking amazing this year. Our Honeybells are just starting to come off of the trees and are ready to begin delivery. Our harvest this year is plentiful and sweet and we look forward to sharing one of the best crops we have seen in YEARS!  

Fresh from the Sunbelt: Our citrus this Winter is looking truly amazing! The dryer climate conditions as well as the cooler weather has the fruit changing into beautiful colors. Our citrus has surpassed last years brix/sugar levels and is extremely tasty. Our Sol Zest Mandarins are eating deliciously sweet this season, as per usual. Fresh from the Sunbelt: This season’s fruit is expected to be quite large and lovely! While we did have a freeze this year, all looks to have been recovered and producing wonderfully. We look forward to this amazing season of sweet, extra-juicy, and large Rio Ruby Red Grapefruit.

Fresh from the Sunbelt: Our delicious citrus is coming along beautifully this season. It’s been hot and dry so we’ve added some supplemental watering. We are to begin testing the size and maturity this month to make sure you are getting the best quality fruit possible when it comes time to harvest around the beginning of November! The classic navel on the bottom of a navel orange is actually a secondary fruit formed within the navel orange itself. Measuring navels in the field to give the packing house a heads up on how it should pack-out by size. An inside look at the deep rich orange color of our late season navels.

Mangoes are harvested by hand just before peak ripeness, based on color, size, and feel. This ensures that each ripens to perfection at the ideal time after being picked. A southern mango tree can produce as much as six to seven feet of new growth per year. The new limbs and leaves support dense, healthy crops. The full rounded heart shape, and pink to red blush are both indicators of this mango approaching perfect ripeness. In just a few more sunny days the red color will expand, and this fruit will be ready to pick.
